Product Description:

As the GKH horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge hits its rated speed, the feed valve is opened. The suspension flows into the drum through the distribution hopper and distributes uniformly across the filtration medium surface. Under the effect of centrifugal force, liquid-solid separation is accomplished — the liquid passes through the filtration medium and drum holes to be expelled, and the solid phase piles up to form a dense filter cake.

When the sediment accumulates to the predefined thickness, the feed valve is closed to initiate the washing and dehydration stages. Next, the rotating scraper scrapes the sediment away, which is subsequently discharged by a chute or screw conveyor.
